• The psychiatrist will prescribe medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• Develop, coordinate and administer psychotherapeutic treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to discuss care plans
• Primarily adult/geriatrics patients
• Schedule is 40 hour work week - very flexible. Providers can start later or earlier or customize the work week to fill out the schedule.
• Days are 8 clinical hours and 1 hour for lunch.
• Rotated Saturdays - when working Saturday get a day off during the week. Sundays optional for additional compensation
• Hours available are 18-20, 30 or 40 hours per week (benefits start at 30 hours)
• Collaborative, team approach model, patient medical home model fully integrated with primary and specialty care.
• Mostly med management and routine visits

Job Requirements:

• Residency training in General Psychiatry required
• Will consider fellowship-trained Psychiatrists with Child/Adolescent, Geriatrics and/or Addiction training backgrounds
• Bilingual language skills in Spanish preferred (not required)
• NYS, DEA, CSR preferred (active)
• New graduates completing training in the next 12 months encouraged to apply
