Hiring an Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist for a large NYC-based academic health system. The Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist must be board certified or board eligible. The Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist will perform thorough patient clinical histories and develops patient care charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient clinical histories and develops patient care charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Continues standards of care as described in Principles of Practice, protocols, and Scope of Practice as approved by the State of New York Board of Medicine.
- Treat patients using psychological therapies.
- Prescribe treatments or therapies.
- Prescribe medications
- No mandatory call
- No nights or weekends
- Monday to Friday, 8:30-4:30, if weekends are desired, there is additional comp
Education Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified American Board of Psychiatry
- Specialty; Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
- New York State Medical License
- Valid Medicaid number and DEA number
Compensation and Benefits:
