**Psychiatry opening in Michigan**
* Located in Muskegon, MI - Grand Rapids 40m
* Full-time, permanent position
* Traditional practice setting
* Joining a medical staff of over 80 collegial psychiatrists
Duties may include clinical admission evaluations, subsequent cares, and discharges from the hospital unit with corresponding and timely documentation; court hearings; supervision of Advanced Practice Professionals (if mutually agreed upon); consultation liaison services to medical floors as assigned; and strong citizenship as a Staff Psychiatrist within the system (including mission acceptance, clinical medical staff meetings, medical staff committee meetings, and adherence to all applicable bylaws and State of Michigan medical licensing regulations).
Opportunity to provide part-time outpatient psychiatric services at Mercy Life Counseling and/or Lakeshore Health Network up to 8 hours per week (32 hours inpatient / 8 hours outpatient).
Current (or eligible to obtain) State of Michigan licensing including medical license and controlled substance license.
Board certified in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board eligible within 5 years of training completion and intent to complete board certification.
Completion of an accredited four-year psychiatric residency program.
