BC/BE IP/OP psychiatrist needed to join a growing group of 5 providers at Client. The position offers a mix of both inpatient and outpatient work. IP department is 38 beds divided into geriatric, adult, intensive care, and medical units. The practice environment offers a fully supportive and engaged administration. A comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment team including a clinical psychologist, nurse practitioner, licensed clinical social worker, and other disciplines are on staff. Client offers a full benefits package including malpractice coverage with tail insurance, 4 weeks of vacation, 5 CME days with expense reimbursement, and covered professional licensure and membership fees. Compensation is base salary plus RVU bonus structure, following up to a 6 month salary guarantee period.

Client is located in a superb geographic location, just 45 minutes northwest of Charlotte and an hour east of Asheville. Lakefront living is possible within a 10-15 minute drive of the hospital. The highest mountains of the eastern US and 4 ski resorts are within a 1 hour drive. The famed beaches of North and South Carolina are an easy 4-5 hour drive away. Location's population is about 50,000, and serves as the center of the 4th largest metropolitan statistical area in NC with the medical community serving a population of well over 400,000.
