Job Description

The primary focus of the Telemedicine Psychiatrist is to provide therapeutic and diagnostic care to patients using video and telephone technology. This position blends high quality care with greater convenience for both the patient and Psychiatrist to create an unparalleled job opportunity and patient experience.

Details:

• Locum position
• Part- and full-time opportunities are available
• Average of 4-6 consults per hour
• Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders using video and phone technology
• Perform psychiatric evaluations to discern the general and mental health of the patient
• Order all necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Organize patient data and medical charts
• Asses the nature of various mental disorders and prescribe the necessary medications
• Create treatment plans for patients using a blend of psychotherapeutic methods and medications
• All necessary training and equipment will be provided

Qualifications

• Valid Florida medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Multiple board certifications and state licenses are preferred
