This includes the current management of seven residential treatment centers in Florida, South Carolina, and Texas. Through these centers, CCRS currently serves approximately 2,000 patients.

With just over 2,300 skilled professionals, CCRS continues to grow by providing clients with services that meet or exceed performance requirements and standards of care at a lower cost to taxpayers. And, in addition to serving patients with mental illness, CCRS also assists those individuals who suffer a co-existing alcohol or drug addiction.

  1. Local Detention (Jail) Division:

With more than 6,000 employees working in 333 local detention facilities around the country, CCS is responsible for the healthcare needs of more than 160,000 patients; 3,400 of which are youths.

CCS provides local detention partners with a staffed managed care model that implements comprehensive, accredited medical programs and services that include offsite hospital contracting and dental.

CCS goals, on behalf of local detention clients, are to reduce costs, improve clinical quality, mitigate risk of malpractice and litigation, increased stabilization of jails, and addressing chronic disease in a correctional environment.

  1. State and Federal (Prison) Division:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Correct Care Recovery Solutions (CCRS) has partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections (MADOC) to comprehensively manage and provide medical and mental health care, forensic mental health evaluation and treatment, substance abuse treatment and dental services to patients at Bridgewater State Hospital (BSH). Therefore, the CCRS Behavioral Health Division of CCS is searching for an experienced and respected Behavioral Health professional to serve as the Hospital Administrator / Leader of the Bridgewater State Hospital (BSH) in Massachusetts. He/She will be part of an innovative program that delivers care in accordance with a person-centered, trauma-informed recovery/resiliency philosophy. CCRS’ overall goal is to improve patients’ levels of functioning and wellness for a successful recovery and discharge from the hospital. CCRS is looking for a visionary leaders committed to improving public health, by developing and leading a team focused on making a difference in the lives of others every single day.

The Hospital Administrator / Leader will be responsible for leading 460+ employees and managing all strategic, operational and financial aspects to care for and support the 275+ behavioral healthcare patients they serve. The Hospital Administrator / Leader for BSH will ensure that the medical, dental, and mental health programs/activities throughout BSH meet the goals, objectives, aims, and policies and procedures of CCS and the MADOC, and are compliant with ACA, NCCHC and State accreditation standards. This position will have the authority to represent, negotiate, and commit the company in significant matters, including those of operational policies and practices, financial impact, handling complaints, and/or resolving client related issues at the senior level.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree in a Clinical Discipline, Mental Health, Nursing, Business Administration or Hospital / Health Services Administration required; MBA and / or Military experience a plus
  • 10+ years of experience managing and leading an inpatient psychiatric hospital with 100+ patients required; 3+ years in a unionized correctional / secure-care facility within a forensic setting
  • Experience with The Joint Commission hospital standards and accreditation, as well as managing the P&L / financial / budgeting responsibilities of a complex inpatient psychiatric healthcare facility required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize and direct the clinical services of the Hospital. This includes but is not limited to Program Services, Social Service, and Intensive Treatment Planning.
  • Provide a single point of contact for all issues and provides direct oversight and management of each subcontract.
  • Recruit, select, retain, and direct senior- and mid-level staff to manage programs required to meet the obligations of the contract.
  • Work with the Medical Director and Chief Nursing Officer to coordinate and provide a full spectrum of services to the patients served.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, ACA and all regulatory bodies.
  • Design and lead culture change at facility to eliminate seclusion and restraints.
  • Provide trauma informed care and education and training to all employees.
  • Provide advice and counsel as to the appropriate utilization of all resources dedicated to the provision of patient medical, dental, mental health, and forensic mental health services, as well as other operational services within the hospital.
  • Attend all contractually required meetings and all meetings called from time-to-time.
  • Complete and submit timely contractually-required reports as well as special studies and information including statistics on an as-needed basis.
  • Ensure internal contract monitoring and compliance and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives required by the terms of the contract and those activities and initiatives requested.
