Ahoskie, NC is seeking a BC Adult Psychiatrist to help provide coverage for their team.
New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled for orientation. Need as soon as credentialed. Monday-Friday 8a5p with 1 weekend call every 4th weekend. Coverage Needed: IMMEDIATELY & ongoing – Emergency privileges will be granted Details: Inpatient Only 40 hour schedule – days can vary during the week Established practice with 3 existing physicians Child/Adolescent Experience Required Consultation/Liason & Emergency Psychiatric Experience a Plus Call Schedule 1:4 Weekends Required Remain on-site while on call BLS Required Expected to serve as back up in the ER Average Total Inpatient Census: 25-26 Geropsych and Adult Psych Average # of patients per day: 20-24 Average # of admissions/day: 5 Average # admissions/night: 1-2 No ICU Duties, Hospital Information: 114-bed hospital Emergency Department (15 beds) 21,000 patients per year 24 hour rotational shifts Vidant Air and Vidant Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) will take care of your flights, rental car and lodging arrangements. MDA provides A+++ Professional Malpractice Insurance.
