A general psychiatrist is needed at a clinic in Alaska. The community has growing demand, so the facility is accepting new candidates. You will provide direct clinical services including psychiatric assessment, advanced health evaluations, psychotherapy, and medication prescriptions, primarily in an outpatient setting. The facility is accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible. Final-year residents and fellows are welcome to apply. You will work closely with advanced practice providers and other psychiatrists. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with no call. You will see 10 to 14 patients per day on average. This position will require an AK license. If you do not currently hold a license in AK, CompHealth can help you obtain one.
