As an Air Force Psychiatrist, you'll be responsible for ensuring your patients get the care and support they need so they can accomplish their mission.
Career Tasks
•Prepare and review case histories, evaluate data and measure the effectiveness of a wide range of therapeutic measures.
•Perform management duties, including formulating plans for psychiatric services, directing mental health clinics, advising on problems related to mental health and prevention of mental disorders while serving as a medical and psychiatric consultant to clinical psychologists and social workers.
•Coordinate psychiatric services with other medical activities and serve as a consultant on psychiatry.
