Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to deliver high-quality mental health care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex cases, contribute to continuity of care, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a well-supported clinical environment.

Patient Volume & Scope

  • Approximately 6 one-hour visits or 10–12 shorter visits per day
  • Mix of new evaluations and follow-ups
  • Adult patient population with moderate to high acuity

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with peer reviews and case consultations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards
  • Follow up on labs, consults, and patient communications in a timely manner

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions
Manage both inpatient and outpatient populations
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
Provide post-discharge care and continuity of treatment
Participate in a shared call schedule for emergency mental health coverage
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
Active DEA license
BLS & ACLS certifications
Experience in adult and/or inpatient psychiatry preferred

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
