This full-time, day-shift role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and may be scheduled across multiple sites in the Houston area. Required Skills:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any state
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and DEA certifications
- Ability to pass government background checks
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications in mental health or related fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in psychiatric practice, preferably in a hospital or community health setting
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
- Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications current
