Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: 7/6/2026
- Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 12-hour days with night call, 7 on / 7 off
Clinical Details:
- Coverage: Consults, new admissions, discharges, emergencies
- Adult inpatient psych: 2 units totaling 37 beds
- Staffing: 2 physicians, 2-3 residents, no APPs
- Bed Size: 37 total adult beds
- Census: Up to 37, typically 30+
- Average Length of Stay: 5-7 days
- Patients Rounding Per Day: 15-18
- Admissions Per Day: Varies based on bed availability and discharges
- Discharges Per Day: Varies widely
- Consults: Average 3 new consults per day plus follow-ups
- H&P's: Managed by family practice
- Average Adult Admissions: 5-7
- Daily Discharges: 4-5, peak 8-10 admissions, 6-8 discharges
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
