Job Title: Psychiatrist (PRN)
Location: Columbus 43215,OH
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (24–40 hours/week)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with mental health conditions. The role involves providing psychiatric care, prescribing medications, and delivering psychotherapy while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and behavioral interventions
• Monitor and coordinate care with medical, nursing, and support staff
• Review patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Recommend improvements in care delivery and clinical processes
• Participate in educational sessions, training, and seminars for healthcare staff

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of psychiatry, medicine, psychology, and human behavior
• Ability to assess complex clinical conditions and develop treatment plans
• Skilled in medication management and therapeutic interventions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient interactions
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Minimum Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD/DO)
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred

Additional Requirements
• Experience treating patients across all age groups (adults, adolescents, and children)
• Valid DEA registration
• National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• PECOS enrollment (preferred/required as applicable)
• CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption)
