Position Title: Psychiatry Chief Medical Officer / CMO - Residential Treatment - Reno, NV

Job Location: 690 Edison Way, Reno, NV 89502

Willow Springs Center is a 116-bed residential treatment facility for children and adolescents ages 6–17. We offer general and specialty treatment programs for males and females in addition to a Special Education program. All programs are staffed by trained clinicians in a multidisciplinary treatment care environment under the direction of the Child Psychiatrist.

Details

  1. Position Title: Chief Medical Officer & Child Adolescent Psychiatrist.
  2. Schedule: Flexible Monday-Friday, day shift with occasional weekends and evening call.
  3. Telehealth policy: On-site in-person presence is required 4 days per week minimum.
  4. Caseload: 20 patients per week on average.
  5. Call & Weekend Coverage: Split amongst medical staff, typically 8 call shifts per month.
  6. Preferred arrangement: Employed W-2 preferred; 1099 independent contractor arrangements will be considered.
  7. Position is: Highly visible and active role.

Duties:

  1. Anticipated Clinical/Admin split: 70% Clinical / 30% Admin
  2. Clinical Duties: Complete admission evaluations, regular follow-ups, lead weekly treatment team planning and meetings, and discharge duties for assigned patients.
  3. Admin Function: Lead weekly treatment team planning and meetings, supervision of other providers and clinical staff, participation in Medical Staff & Executive Team Committee meetings, strategic initiatives including Program Development, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Utilization Management.

  1. Ability to set a strategic vision with measurable outcomes that promote Psychiatric Department development and success.
  2. Ability to build a collaborative and supportive culture for the provider team.
  3. Strong management and proven leadership skills required.
  4. Ability to organize and facilitate meetings and outcomes.
  5. Willingly accepts direction in achievement of organization’s objectives.
  6. Organizational skills, including working collaboratively with others.
  7. Understanding of and commitment to stewardship in both medical management and business reality.
  8. Strong business acumen relating to Psychiatric operations, finance and decision-making.

Compensation/Benefits

  1. Base Salary: $390,000-$410,000

Required Education, Licensure, & Certifications

  1. Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
  2. Board Certifications: BE/BC General Psychiatry through ABPN (required); BE/BC Child Adolescent Psychiatry (required).
  3. Licensure: Current Nevada physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain the required license.
  4. Credentialing: Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
