Job description
Seeking a BC/BE Adult/General Psychiatrist for a flexible 1099 independent contractor role providing inpatient behavioral health care in Austin, Texas.
Position Details:
- Manage a patient caseload of 15–20 per day (3–5 admissions)
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-ups, discharges, and treatment team planning
- Monday–Friday day shifts; optional weekend coverage available
- Evening weekday phone call coverage for own patients
- Primarily adult inpatient caseload
- Optional NP supervision with stipend if interested
- Must be opted into Medicare and able to see Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and private payor patients
- Fee-for-service 1099 independent contractor
