Position Overview
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care within a collaborative behavioral health team. This role focuses on evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing patient support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
- Manage medication therapy and follow-up care
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and care teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Meet productivity and quality standards
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active or eligible state medical license
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities
