📍 Location: San Jose, CA
🕒 Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours/week | Between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🏥 Setting: Adult Outpatient | Float Role
💰 Compensation: $200–$215 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our team in San Jose, CA in a part-time, outpatient setting. This is a float position, providing coverage across adult outpatient services. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple clinic environments.

Strong preference for onsite providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting

  • Float between designated clinic locations as needed

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, and support staff

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)

  • DEA license required

  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred

  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based care model

  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites (float role)
