Full time
A behavioral health hospital in the Denver metro area is seeking a full-time Adult/General Psychiatrist to provide care within inpatient psychiatric and detoxification units. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment, flexible schedule, and strong clinical support while practicing in one of Colorado’s most desirable regions.
Position Highlights
• Inpatient adult psychiatry and detox services
• Average patient census of approximately 15 patients per day
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner support based on patient volume
• Multidisciplinary, mission-driven care team
• Collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care
Schedule
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
• Minimal call coverage required
Key Responsibilities
• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in an inpatient setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including nursing, therapists, and advanced practice providers
• Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and care coordination
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health care
Candidate Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active Colorado medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong commitment to evidence-based psychiatric care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• New graduates and all psychiatry subspecialties welcome
