Adelphi is seeking a psychiatrist to provide hybrid psychiatric services at an outpatient facility in Oroville/Chico Area, California. The psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychiatric care for adult patients in a collaborative outpatient setting.

  • Documentation/Admin Time: 1 hour per day included in schedule

  • Start Date: April 1 (Long-term assignment)



Requirements:

  • Active CA license

  • BC/BE

  • DEA License

  • Valid US driver's license upon date of application. Must obtain California driver's license following hire date per California DMV regulations



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide ongoing medication management and psychotherapy as needed.

  • Perform crisis intervention, including prescribing and administering emergency medications.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services including NPs, counselors, therapists, and case managers.

  • Evaluate patients for voluntary/involuntary commitment and complete required documentation.

  • Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

  • Support continuity of care for patients engaged in day treatment and substance use programs.

  • Any other duties as assigned.
