Psychiatrist opening | Fargo, ND ## Position Details * Part-time or full-time available * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p * Setting: Primarily outpatient with rotating inpatient/ED consult coverage * Telemedicine: Not specified ## Practice Overview Seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join a highly respected, rapidly growing Behavioral Health team serving patients and families across the continuum of care: * Multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, nurses, and dedicated support staff * Primarily outpatient practice with a rotating schedule for inpatient and ED consults * Pediatric experience and competence preferred but not required * Access to top-notch facilities in a professional, patient-centered environment * Collaborative model involving other departments and specialties for patients with complex medical and comorbid mental health needs ## Clinical Responsibilities * Conduct health screenings and psychiatric evaluations * Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications * Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings * Seek consultation and refer patients to other providers when appropriate * Collaborate effectively across departments and specialties ## Compensation & Benefits * Base compensation: $335,000 * Eligible for additional compensation including bonuses, quality incentives, and production-based compensation ## Required Qualifications * MD — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry * ABPP certification preferred but not required * Child/adolescent certification preferred but not required * Successful completion of credentialing process prior to start * Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to remain calm and focused in high-demand and emergency situations ## About the Community – Fargo, North Dakota * Largest city in North Dakota with a vibrant and growing metro area * Strong sense of community with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere * Affordable cost of living with excellent schools and neighborhoods * Rich arts, dining, and entertainment scene * Access to outdoor recreation including trails, lakes, and parks * Dynamic healthcare community with a strong professional network
