Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Duration: Minimum 6-month contract
Shift: Day Shift (may flex earlier based on facility needs)

Job Description
The Psychiatrist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with mental health conditions. The role includes medication management, psychotherapy, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, examine, analyze, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions.
• Prescribe medications and provide psychotherapy and counseling (e.g., psychoanalysis, behavioral therapy).
• Monitor and coordinate care with professional and paraprofessional medical, nursing, and direct care staff.
• Review patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Recommend improvements related to clinical processes, staffing, and organizational practices.
• Conduct and participate in lectures, seminars, and training sessions related to psychiatry for healthcare staff.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient treatment and recovery.

Minimum Qualifications
• Doctoral Degree (MD or DO) in Medicine
• Valid State of Ohio Medical License
• Completion of an approved Psychiatry Residency Program
• Minimum 5 years of medical practice limited to psychiatry
• Copy of Medical Diploma
Required Certifications
• Ohio Medical License
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved exemption
