Outpatient Psychiatrist
Job Type: Full-Time
Practice Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic
Schedule: 4-5 Clinic Days per Week | Limited Call
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a well-established outpatient behavioral health clinic in Fort Atkinson, WI. The physician will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and monitor effectiveness.

Provide supportive psychotherapy when appropriate.

Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and primary care providers.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals when necessary.
Patient Population:
Adults, Children & Adolescents, and Geriatric patients.
Common conditions include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
Qualifications:

MD or DO degree.

Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

Active or eligible state medical license.

DEA registration required.

Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology.
Schedule & Work Environment:

Outpatient clinic setting.

4-5 clinic days per week.

Limited telephone call.

In-person, hybrid, or telepsychiatry options may be available.
