Role Description
This physician will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescents and adults. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with psychiatric nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality mental health services.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric disorders
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
• Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners and clinical staff
• Participate in supervision and case consultation as needed
• Support evidence-based psychiatric care and clinical quality initiatives
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience treating adolescent and adult psychiatric populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
