Title; Psychiatrist - Region 6
Location; Northfield, OH 44067
Duration; 3 Months to long term
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM
Job responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric and psychological conditions through clinical assessments, psychotherapy, and medication management.
• Conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, administer and interpret psychological tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling addressing issues such as substance abuse, trauma, suicidal ideation, behavioral concerns, and interpersonal challenges.
• Perform risk assessments, including suicide risk evaluations, and implement crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies.
• Conduct forensic psychological evaluations, assess competency and mental status, prepare reports, and provide expert testimony when required.
• Coordinate mental health services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support program development.
• Provide psycho-educational programs and specialized therapeutic interventions, including aggression management and coping skills training.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress reports, and treatment summaries while ensuring quality of care and compliance with professional standards.
Requirement:
• Doctoral Degree
• Ohio Medical License
• COVID vaccine card or exemption letter
• DEA Certification
• BLS/CPR
