Psychiatrist Locums to Permanent Job in Nebraska
Position Highlights
--Locums-to-permanent opportunity with potential long-term placement
--3–6 month initial assignment with option to extend or transition permanently
--Mid–late April start
Clinical Responsibilities
--Medical leadership role overseeing psychiatric services
--Supervisory collaboration with Nurse Practitioner, including chart review
--Approximately 20% direct patient care
--Focus on adult patients only
--Participate in clinical oversight and complex case review
Schedule
--Flexible schedule. The facility is open to as little as 8 hours a week or up to full time.
--On-site presence required a minimum of 1–2 days per month
Preferred Experience
--Interest or experience in interventional psychiatry
--Treatments may include:
--TMS
--Spravato
--Ketamine therapy
--Training available for physicians interested in expanding into these modalities
Requirements
--Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
--Active Nebraska medical license
--Experience or interest in innovative psychiatric treatments preferred
