Psychiatry – Child & Adolescent Location: Southington, CT • Position: Board Certified/Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist • Provide outpatient behavioral health services for children and adolescents • Work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team, serving as a clinical team leader to coordinate and supervise care across disciplines • Conduct diagnostic admission evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy as appropriate • Complete timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and discharge summaries in compliance with medical staff regulations • Monitor risk indicators and take timely action to ensure safety of patients, staff, and visitors • Adhere to evidence-based prescribing practices with informed consent for medication trials • Serve as a liaison with schools, family members, primary care providers, and external clinicians • Provide supervision to selected non-physician health professionals • Participate in Medical Staff Committees and meetings as required • Engage in mentorship programs, virtual grand rounds, and academic development opportunities • Support for professional growth through a Provider Leadership Development Institute and Office of Provider Wellness Benefits & Career Development: • Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental, STD/LTD, matching 401(k), generous PTO, CME allowance, and more • Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program • Opportunities for academic, research, and leadership development within a robust psychiatric network Health System Highlights: • Part of an integrated behavioral health network with extensive psychiatric treatment, research, and academic programs • Includes psychiatry residency and fellowship programs • Network delivers 750,000 outpatient visits and 110,000 inpatient days annually across 50 locations and 300 inpatient beds • Recognized for coordinated, high-quality care and community partnerships Location: • Located in Southington, Connecticut, near Boston and New York City • Access to highly rated schools, four-season recreational activities, and diverse living options including suburban, coastal, and urban communities Qualifications: • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Connecticut
