Locums Psychiatry Opportunity – Troy
Availability Requirements (Quick View)
- Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Full-Time Availability: REQUIRED
- Weekend Coverage: 1:4 rotation
- Call: 1:4 rotation
- Board Certified Psychiatrist – REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification – REQUIRED
- Active New York Medical License – REQUIRED at time of submission
- Setting: Adult Inpatient Psychiatry (General Adult Behavioral Health Unit)
- Beds:
- 30-bed unit split between 2 physicians (~15 patients per day per provider)
- 63 total inpatient beds
- Team Structure:
- 3 current inpatient psychiatrists
- 2 locum openings
- Outpatient clinic at full staffing: 5 physicians + 1 APP
- EMR: EPIC
- Security: 24/7 hospital security; all staff attend codes
- Limited to crisis unit only when on weekend call
- Children evaluated and transferred to adolescent facility if admitted
