A progressive health system is expanding its Population Health initiative to improve access to pediatric behavioral healthcare. We are seeking an engaging, innovative Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve in an outpatient clinical and consultative role, integrating behavioral health directly into pediatric primary care practices.
About the Opportunity
This position supports pediatric practices that collectively serve approximately 90,000 pediatric patients annually across 14 sites of care in a large metropolitan region. You will help advance an established Integrated Behavioral Health Program within pediatric offices.
Position Highlights
• 100% outpatient role
• Integrated Behavioral Health model embedded within pediatric primary care
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Consultants (Psychologists or LISWs), psychotherapists, and Pediatric Primary Care Providers
• Develop and refine care pathways and treatment protocols for common pediatric psychiatric conditions
• Provide consultation to pediatricians on psychiatric diagnoses and psychotropic medication management
• Educate primary care providers on behavioral health best practices
• Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination to support treatment goals
