Addiction Psychiatrist opening - Madison, WI Position Details

  • Full-time, employed position
  • Established team of 3 physicians
  • Clinic hours Monday‚ÄìFriday, 8:00am‚Äì4:30pm
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient practice
  • Services include intensive outpatient program (IOP), medication management, individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy
  • Average 6‚Äì8 clinic patients per half day
  • Average 3‚Äì4 hospital patients per day
  • Shared call rotation (1:3); phone call only for nights and weekends
  • Fully integrated health system utilizing EPIC EMR
  • Collaborative, team-based care model Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive addiction medicine and psychiatric care to adults (18+)
  • Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate clinical information to develop treatment plans
  • Participate in shared call coverage (phone only)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including nurses, therapists, and support staff
  • Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry with addiction experience or Board Eligible/Certified in Addiction Medicine
  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license
  • Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) Benefits Details
