Coverage Needed
- Start Date: As Soon as Credentialed
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, mostly 7 on/7 off, with call coverage for a portion of the week
Clinical Details
- Daily Patient Volume: Unit census is 24, split between two doctors and 1 APP
- 1 to 3 admits a day
- Call: No call back to the facility after leaving for the day; likely psych consults from Emergency Department admissions
- On call provider does all consults and evals for the day, other providers cover follow up and the unit
- EMR: Cerner Powerchart
- Support Staff: One practice manager, techs, nurses, social workers
- Bed Size: 24 beds, with flexibility between pediatric and adolescent
- Onsite coverage, no tele
Requirements
- Must be C&A Board Certified/Eligible
- Active NC license and DEA
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
