Position Overview:

A well-established behavioral health program in the Hudson Valley region of New York is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist for full-time ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning May 2026. The incoming physician will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists and experienced psychiatric advanced practice providers, delivering care across multiple clinical environments.

Clinical Responsibilities May Include:

• Inpatient psychiatry coverage
• Outpatient behavioral health services
• Psychiatric consultation to medical/surgical units
• Emergency department psychiatric evaluations
• Collaborative care with outpatient behavioral health centers
• Participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning

The role offers flexibility based on provider strengths and clinical interests while supporting continuity of care across the behavioral health service line.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
