Position Overview:
We have an immediate need for one Multiple (Up to 8) Psychiatrists to provide mental health care for our veteran population at the VA Medical Center located in Tuskegee, AL and supporting outpatient locations (Montgomery, AL, Dothan, AL, Fort Rucker, AL, Columbus, GA, and Monroeville, AL.). This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on veterans’ lives while experiencing the mystique of the South.
· Must have completed a residency in Psychiatry and be Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
· Must be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
· Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
Hours & Schedule:
· Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
· On Call Hours cover Nights, Weekends, and Holidays may apply
Items Required for Submission:
· Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school
o For any gaps of 30 days +, written explanations are accepted
· One active, unrestricted Medical License in any state
· Current DEA
· BLS- American Heart Association (AHA) required
· 3 Current References
· Signed LOI
