Position Overview
Clinovators LLC is seeking a licensed psychologist to perform psychological fitness-for-duty and pre-employment evaluations for VA Police Officers at the Durham VA Medical Center.

This role involves conducting structured psychological assessments and preparing evaluation reports in accordance with Department of Veterans Affairs requirements. This is an assessment-only role and does not involve ongoing treatment or therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological fitness-for-duty evaluations for current VA Police Officers
  • Perform pre-employment psychological assessments for police officer candidates
  • Conduct in-person clinical interviews and psychological testing as required
  • Prepare and submit written evaluation reports within required timelines
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with federal standards
  • Perform services on-site at Durham VA Medical Center

Qualifications
Required:

  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Active, unrestricted psychologist license
  • Eligible to practice in North Carolina
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and clinical evaluations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience performing fitness-for-duty or pre-employment evaluations
  • Experience working with law enforcement or federal agencies
  • Experience supporting VA or government healthcare contracts

Position Details

  • Independent contractor (1099) position
  • Flexible scheduling based on evaluation volume
  • Approximately 53 total evaluations anticipated
  • Competitive per-assessment compensation
  • No ongoing patient care responsibilities
