Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a hospital-employed behavioral health team in Bristol, Pennsylvania. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Position Highlights:
Hospital-employed W-2 position
Full-time hospital-based schedule
Practice within a 238-bed acute care hospital serving Bucks County and surrounding communities
Collaborative, multidisciplinary behavioral health team
Inpatient and consult-liaison care based on program needs
Participation in on-call coverage as required
Emphasis on quality improvement and clinical governance
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment
Manage psychiatric conditions through evidence-based medication management and treatment planning
Collaborate with nursing, social work, therapy, hospitalist, and case management teams
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
DEA license or eligibility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based, team-oriented environment
