Seeking a Board-Certified physician to provide Behavioral Health inpatient coverage due to a temporary physician shortage related to maternity leave. This is a supported hospital setting with reasonable patient volume and full travel reimbursement.

Patient Population

Average ~20 patients/day in the Behavioral Health unit
Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient Behavioral Health coverage

Prescribing narcotics as appropriate

Pre-admission screening review and documentation (CMS guidelines)

Weekly care plan documentation

Discharge summaries and medication reconciliation

Supervision of Nurse Practitioner
Facility & Support

Behavioral Health Unit

24/7 Lab availability

24/7 Anesthesia availability

Hospital-based practice setting
