Job Summary:
Seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, part of Florida’s largest healthcare system, and located southwest of Jacksonville
Qualified Candidates:
· Board-certification in Psychiatry; additional fellowship training welcomed
· Have a current, or obtainable unrestricted Florida medical license - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
· No history of any practice license being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
· Have current, unrestricted DEA registration
· Prior experience working with residents and/or engaging in scholarly activity a plus
Position:
· Outpatient adult psychiatry clinic Monday – Friday
· No weekends
· Core faculty duties with supervisory role for PGY3 residents in training.
· All patients are seen first by psychiatry residents
· Staffing is 2 residents per day on average, with 90” allowed for new evaluations
· Minimal call duties for clinic only; residents take first calls with supervision as needed
· Other GME duties include teaching in didactics, individual supervision, and program committee work, including resident candidate interviews
· Clinic is supported by a medical assistant, front desk staff, and practice manager
