• Inpatient Psychiatry locum coverage needed
• 24-hour call-based assignment
• Coverage due to physician maternity leave
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• EPIC EMR environment
• 24-hour call-based assignment
• Coverage due to physician maternity leave
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• EPIC EMR environment
Job Responsibilities
• Manage adult and geriatric behavioral health patients
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-ups
• Prescribe medications including narcotics
• Complete admission reviews and CMS documentation
• Weekly care plans, discharge summaries, and med reconciliation
• Supervise NP as required
Qualifications
• Active South Carolina medical license
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
• Fellowship training preferred
• BLS / ACLS preferred
• Clean background and malpractice history
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Call coverage required
• Call ratio approximately 1:4
