Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join a growing behavioral health team. This role focuses on providing evidence-based psychotherapy services to children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, developmental, and trauma-related challenges.
The ideal candidate is client-centered, collaborative, and passionate about helping children and families achieve meaningful mental health outcomes through high-quality, innovative care.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Provide individual, group, and family therapy using modalities including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Psychodynamic, art, and play therapy
Deliver crisis intervention services to ensure client safety and stabilization
Provide telehealth services while maintaining full HIPAA compliance
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pediatricians, educators, social workers, and case managers
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and CPT standards
Participate in clinical research, data collection, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Training and/or certification in evidence-based therapeutic modalities
Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills
Skills
Strong clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, substance use, and trauma-related disorders
Experience working with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions
Familiarity with behavioral interventions, ABA principles, and developmental disabilities
Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, and clinical documentation
Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
