Onsite Only: 100% Inpatient (No Telehealth)

🩺 Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join a collaborative behavioral health team in historic Georgetown, DE. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering excellent work-life balance with no weekends and no call.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult and adolescent populations

• Treat a wide range of conditions including:

  • Anxiety & affective disorders

  • ADD/ADHD

  • Eating disorders

  • Personality & developmental disorders

  • Psychotic disorders

• Average census: 18 patients/day

• Work collaboratively with:

  • 2 Psychiatrists

  • 3 Advanced Practice Providers

• Utilize WellSky EMR

• Participate in involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy

✅ Required Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 0–5 years of residency)

• Delaware medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• DEA – must be obtained prior to start 🚨

• CSR/CDS – must be obtained prior to start 🚨

• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

• NPDB Self-Query Report (within last 30 days)
