Position Overview:
Join a cohesive behavioral health team providing outpatient adult psychiatric services in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy as appropriate
Work within a multidisciplinary treatment team and may serve as a clinical team leader
Provide guidance and leadership to clinicians in developing and implementing treatment plans
Complete timely documentation including assessments, clinical interventions, and discharge summaries
Monitor risk indicators and address risk management issues to ensure patient, staff, and visitor safety
Adhere to safe, evidence-based prescribing practices and obtain informed consent prior to medication trials
Act as a liaison with outside providers, primary care physicians, schools, and family members as needed
Provide supervision to selected non-physician health professionals
Participate in Medical Staff committees and meetings per Medical Staff regulations
