Outpatient Psychiatrist Opening – Abingdon, VA
Board Certified/Board Eligible Outpatient Psychiatrist to join a growing behavioral health team in Abingdon, Virginia. This full-time opportunity offers meaningful outpatient work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment serving patients ages 17 and older.
Position Highlights
* Multidisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Providers, and Master’s-level Therapists
* Outpatient-focused practice with integrated Telehealth services
* System-wide EPIC EMR across all Ballad Health locations
* Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
* Optional PRN inpatient shifts available
* Strong referral network with nearby hospitals and mental health facilities
* NP supervision and collaboration included
Qualifications
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
* Active DEA license for prescribing controlled substances
* Open to new graduates
