Inpatient Psychiatrist Opening – Bristol, VA
Board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in Virginia and Tennessee (or willing to obtain VA licensure) to join an inpatient behavioral health program. A 28-bed adult psychiatric unit serving Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.
Schedule
* Flexible scheduling model (open to discussion)
* 7 on / 7 off or Monday–Friday
* 24/7 referral and admission availability
Practice Highlights
* Daily rounds with a Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Advanced Practitioner
* Comprehensive therapeutic services including:
* Individual psychotherapy
* Group psychotherapy
* Recreational therapy
* Pharmacologic management
* Family therapy
* On-site case management, court services, and educational support
* Strong collaboration with Community Service Boards (CSBs) and court systems
* Support for a new 24/7 Behavioral Health Walk-In service launching mid-2026
