We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatry Physician to provide vital mental health services within a supportive hospital environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to patient well-being, collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team, and advance your career in behavioral health. Ensure timely and compassionate care for adult patients in a fast-paced setting, with an emphasis on initial evaluations, daily rounding, and crisis intervention as needed.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry
  • Valid State Medical License (considering IMLC)
  • DEA Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of psychiatric practice experience
  • Proficiency in initial psychiatric evaluations and daily clinical rounding
  • Experience with Meditech EMR or similar systems
  • Ability to manage a patient census of up to 20 adults, with up to 10 admissions/discharges weekly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in psychiatric inpatient units or crisis settings
  • Knowledge of detox protocols and managing psychiatric emergencies
  • Additional certifications related to behavioral health

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with Psychiatry specialization
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
  • Commitment to providing high-quality mental health care
  • Willingness to work in a hospital setting with adult-only patient population

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $300.30, with work hours from 08:00 to 17:00, totaling approximately 9 hours per day. Enjoy benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, and access to licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements. Holiday pay is 1.5× the regular rate for recognized holidays. Travel expenses, including airfare, rental car, and lodging, are covered when applicable, with an all-inclusive rate of $385.00 per hour for travel periods.
