A hospital-employed opportunity is available for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist who is fellowship trained and Board Eligible/Board Certified in C/A Psychiatry. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with a strong Emergency Medicine department and an experienced crisis team of psychiatrists and therapists, providing comprehensive, team-based care. Job Function:
- Position: Full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist need
- Program: Join an innovative pediatric crisis care program
- Role Split: 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient crisis stabilization
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM; no call or weekend shifts required.
- Responsibilities: Provide direct care in unit, manage outpatient follow-up for discharged patients, and coordinate patient flow between ED and outpatient program.
- Teaching & Collaboration: Supervise nursing/ancillary staff and trainees; work with interdisciplinary teams including emergency medicine, pediatrics, psychotherapists, and case managers.
Job Requirement:
- Must be board certified in Psychiatry.
- Must be fellowship in C/A and BE/BC in C/A.
- CT medical license.
- Will consider a new grad C/A fellow or experienced candidate.
