Details: We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient care, including initial evaluations, follow-ups, and discharges. The position involves managing a high-volume caseload and participating in the call pool. Providers should be comfortable seeing patients ages 12 and older and working alongside nursing and mental health clinicians.
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Contract Length: February 2, 2026 – 3 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)
Patient/Case Load: Approximately 30
Compensation: Discussed via Phone Call
On-Call: Yes, pool phone coverage 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Qualifications:
• MD/DO (Board Certified in Psychiatry)
• Active Tennessee license
• Experience with inpatient psychiatric care preferred
