Psychiatrist – Part-Time
Location: Lucasville, OH 45699
Shift: Flexible (Core hours 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours/Week: 16–20
Duration: Minimum 6 months (potential for permanent opportunity)
Education: MD or DO
Position Summary
We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist to provide part-time on-site behavioral health services. The psychiatrist will manage a caseload of 75–100 patients, seeing 12–16 patients per shift, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and examinations; write reports and assessments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Manage and prescribe medications for patients
• Make referrals for specialized care as needed
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including peer reviews
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
• Board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist
• Active Ohio Medical License
• DEA certification
