We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 192-day locum tenens assignment with our client in California, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role features an almost entirely telehealth schedule, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 5pm with a half-hour lunch, and requires onsite presence one week every two months. The position emphasizes consults and follow-up visits, primarily supporting transitional age youth (18-25) and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct psychiatric consults and follow-up appointments via telehealth
  • Perform new patient exams (approximately 5 per month, 1 hour per exam)
  • Manage follow-up visits (30 minutes per follow-up)
  • Provide care for transitional age youth (18-25) and geriatric patients
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions


Additional Information
