Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join its expanding behavioral health team in the New Haven area.
This full-time, permanent role offers an outpatient-focused schedule with limited call. You will work with a supportive team that includes psychiatric nurse practitioners, behavioral health therapists, and case managers. Providers benefit from a collaborative culture as well as the indirect academic exposure and clinical standards influenced by nearby Yale-affiliated programs.

Essential Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based medication management
Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care
Provide clinical guidance to behavioral health staff as needed
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain ongoing professional development and stay current with psychiatric advancements
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Licensure: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligibility for Connecticut licensure
Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome
