Psychiatry Consult Faculty Physician

Our behavioral health practice is seeking a psychiatrist to supervise our resident physicians at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates:

• Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
• Board certified or board eligible
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Virginia
• Superb communication skills and a passion for training the next generation of physician leaders
• 1:4 call schedule
• Shared weekend inpatient call coverage with teams – separate resident ED team
• Opportunity for leadership positions including core faculty, and Medical Director roles with a preferred 3 years of experience and board certification
• Supervision of APP support is required
