Coverage Needed
- Start Date: December 15, 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Weekday M-F 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; 1 weekend a month, rounding only from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Saturday & Sunday
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Clinical Details
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Patients Per Shift: Up to 17 on weekdays
- Bed Size in Department: 67
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
- Admissions: 2-3 daily
- EMR System: Cerner
- Support Staff: 2 office staff
Requirements
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- California Medical License
- BLS Certification
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric care
- Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
- Proficiency in treatment techniques such as pharmacother
